Nairobi Driving and Walking Tour

Overview

Spend a day touring Nairobi's favorite attractions such as the Giraffe Centre to spend time and feed the Rothschild giraffe, Karen Blixen Museum, David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Bomas of Kenya for cultural orientation and traditional dances. The day starts at 8.00 and ends

at 4.30pm.

7.30am: Pick up at your preferred hotel

8.00am – 9.00am: Giraffe Centre / interaction with the endangered Rothschild Giraffe

9.30am – 10.30am: Karen Blixen Museum / Tour of the Karen Blixen House accompanied by a local guide

10.45am – 12.00pm: David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage / adopt a baby elephant and learn about conservation practices of the endangered elephant species as well as history of all the baby elephants.

12.00pm – 1.00pm: Kazuri Beads Factory / support local women communities who depend on the bead work for survival

1.15pm – 2.20pm: Lunch at Utamaduni Restaurant (Bomas of Kenya) / sample local cuisine

2.30pm – 4.00pm: Traditional Dances and Acrobatic Show / Learn about some of the 42 tribes of Kenya and their cultural practices and beliefs.

4.30pm / 5.00pm: Transfer back to preferred hotel for rest.
