Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru National Park, Amboseli National Park

Highlights: This exciting safari traverses into three of Kenya’s National Parks and Game Reserves for wildlife viewing, photography and scenery exploration. You will travel as a group of other members in a shared safari minibus. Accommodation is based in budget camps with all meals included. You will travel in the company of one of our best tour driver who is an excellent spotter so that you can maximize your time in the park. The safari starts in Nairobi and ends in Mombasa where you will be transferred after your safari to Amboseli.

Day 01: Nairobi / Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will be met at your preferred hotel and be transferred to meet up with other members of the group for departure by road to Masai Mara. Being a long drive you may stop at the scenic Great Rift Valley view point for a view of the escarpment and a photo session. Proceed to Mara via Narok Town arriving for lunch. Lunch is followed by afternoon game drive within the park which is famously known for the big five and migration of wildebeest (seasonal between July & October). Animals that are easily spotted include elephant, buffalo, lion, and bird species and plains game. Transfer back to accommodation in the evening for rest and dinner

Day 02: Masai Mara (Full day)

Breakfast at 0700hrs then carry packed picnic lunch and proceed for full day game drive to see the park. You will look for various animals and as you explore the new 8th wonder of the world which is a famous wildlife destination all year round. If you wish, cultural visit to a Masai village can be organized at a small extra cost ($20 each person) or alternatively a hot air balloon safari ($425 each person) and which takes place early in the morning before sunrise. You will have picnic lunch at the Hippo pool where you will also watch hippo pools wallowing in the mud. In the evening, you are transferred back to camp for dinner and rest

Day 03: Masai Mara / Lake Nakuru

After breakfast you will check out of the camp and enjoy a final morning game drive to see animals when most active before the hot sun comes out. Afterwards you will drive to Lake Nakuru stopping for lunch at Narok Town. You will then proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in the evening for transfer to your camp for rest and dinner. Lake Nakuru is home to flamingo, pelican, stork, white rhino, buffalo, giraffe, warthog and others. Currently the water levels in Nakuru have reduced the numbers of flamingos at the lake, but other animals can be seen such as giraffe, zebra, gazelle, white rhino and others.

Day 04: Lake Nakuru / Nairobi / Amboseli

After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru which is home to flamingo, pelicans, cormorants, Thompson gazelle, impala, waterbuck, zebra and many others. If lucky, you might spot the elusive leopard atop the trees. Drive up to the baboon cliff where you will enjoy a bird’s eye view of the park. Have your picnic lunch at leisure during the game drives then afterwards, exit from the park and be driven back to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, you will proceed to Amboseli arriving in the evening at the camp. Amboseli is famously known for its beauty and large herds of elephant. Buffalo, giraffe, gazelle, warthog, and different bird species are easily spotted.

Day 05: Amboseli

Breakfast is followed by rewarding morning and afternoon game drives within the park with a break for lunch at the camp. Amboseli is home to large elephant herds and other plains game. Your driver is an excellent spotter who will drive you at a leisurely pace to help you identify and photograph animals in their natural habitat. In the evening, you are transferred back to the camp for rest and dinner.

Day 06: Amboseli / Mombasa

After breakfast, you will exit from the park with picnic lunch and be driven to Mombasa or alternatively you will have a lunch break on the way at a local restaurant. You will arrive in Mombasa in the evening for transfer to your preferred beach hotel in the coast. The driver returns to Nairobi the following day.
